I would give Auto Craftsmen 100 stars if I could. I've been bringing my car to them for at least 6yrs, and compared to the previous 14yrs experience with other mechanics, Auto Craftsmen can't be beat. Their customer service and mechanics are knowledgeable and friendly, the information provided is easy to understand and the transparency of the work they have done is a breath of fresh air. Recently I had a small mountain of work done under the hood. While everything was taken apart, Auto Craftsmen mechanics discovered other problems which could have left me stranded on the side of the road if not taken care of. Instead of taking advantage of an opportunity to charge me for another visit, they let me know of the issues, and the repairs got done. What could have been close to a $1000 visit after the fact, was instead barely over $100 extra on my original estimate. I greatly appreciate all the work Auto Craftsmen does, the extra effort they go to keep my vehicle in good shape and how honorable they are.

The "Unicorn" for car service. Excellent communication pre, during and post repair, they clearly explain the problem, offer options for repair, and treat you with integrity and respect. Truly a 10/10 service experience over multiple years of repairs on different vehicles. Highly recommended without reservation.

For years, we have had the crew at Auto Craftsmen work on our cars, always with excellent results. However, my most recent experience requires a review. The check-engine light kept coming on in my 2015 CRV resulting in the All wheel drive function being lost. Winter in Vermont is not when one wants to lose all wheel drive! Amy and the crew squeezed me in hours before their Holiday break, found me a loaner car. They diagnosed and repaired the problem in time to get me on the road for Christmas. Thank you Auto Craftsmen!

We have used Autocraftsmen’s services for 14 years and have always been happy with their work. Recently they fit us in during a very busy time for them to replace the starter in our car before it left us stranded. That was very much appreciated by us! Nice, honest folks working there which makes it an excellent choice for car repairs.

Additionally, you let me borrow a vehicle while my truck was being worked on and this helped me go to work and not loose a day of work. I am so grateful for the amount of care and kindness you showed during this difficult time in my life. These folks saved me! On Sunday 8/7, I had car trouble driving from Burlington to Barre and just so happen to lose power steering right about the time Auto Craftsmen came in to sight. I managed to coast into their parking lot before the car died completely. Having never been here before for service, I had no idea what to expect but wrote a note about what happened on one of their envelopes, I put my key in it, slipped it into their "after hours" key slot, and crossed my fingers. I can't exaggerate how lucky I feel to have landed at this shop! Everyone I spoke to was helpful, friendly, understanding, and so kind. From the moment I received a call Monday morning to go over what I experienced while driving, through out the whole diagnosis, quote for repair, and actual completion of the repair - they kept me updated through emails & texts in a way I've never found at any repair shop any where. I honestly cannot recommend Auto Craftsmen enough!

The first time I talked to Grayson, I explained that I was looking for a local garage to service my 2015 Subaru Forester. I was searching for a garage that provided quality service and could be trusted to give an honest evaluation of my car’s needs going forward. The vehicle had reached close to 220, 000 miles and I felt less of a need to take it to the dealer that I purchased it from. I started with a vibration in my front end, suspecting an issue with missing wheel weights due to mud season. Grayson explained that the technicians would also give it the once over to become familiar with the car. On my second visit for an oil and filter change, the technician noticed that a universal joint on the drive shaft was beginning to fail. I had noticed a different rattle in the vehicle, but didn’t give it much thought, just another old age rattle. I was notified by Amy of my options for repair/replacement in a very detailed manner and was able to discuss with her the positives/negatives of each choice. The information she provided allowed me to make a thoughtful decision. The work was completed in a timely manner. Within one week I had put four hundred miles on the vehicle. Its now two weeks out and they are checking in to see how things are going. Auto Craftsmen offer impressive customer service! I’ve found my local garage! Paula

I am always impressed at how responsive Amy and her team are, ease of getting an appointment, communication throughout the process to avoid nasty surprises. Their work is timely and high quality and their pricing is fair. Can't ask for more.
